Hey there, Unstoppable Babe! It’s a brand-new year, and I know you’re ready to crush it. But let me tell you something, if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably set goals before that felt more like a wish list than a plan. Been there, done that, burned the T-shirt.

This year, we’re doing things differently. I’m talking real, actionable goals that you can stick to—even when life gets chaotic. (Because let’s be honest, it will.) Grab your favorite tea, and let’s get into it!

1. Start Small to Win Big

A few years ago, I made the mistake of setting all the goals. I was going to work out seven days a week, drink a gallon of water a day, and somehow become the poster child for clean eating. Spoiler: I burned out by January 10.

Here’s what I’ve learned: small changes lead to big results. Instead of overhauling your whole life, pick one or two small, manageable goals.

  • Try this: Swap your afternoon snack for a protein-packed smoothie. (I love using Shaklee’s Life Shake it’s quick, delicious, and keeps me full for hours.)

  • Why it works: Small wins build momentum. Before you know it, you’re crushing goals left and right.

2. Make It Specific and Measurable

Listen, “I want to get healthy” is a nice idea, but it’s not a goal. It’s like saying, “I want to travel more,” without picking a destination.

  • Instead, try this: “I’ll exercise three times a week” or “I’ll add veggies to at least two meals a day.”

  • My tip: Write it down. Stick it on your fridge, your mirror, or anywhere you’ll see it daily. (Yes, sticky notes are your new BFF.)

When I started tracking my water intake, I realized I wasn’t drinking nearly enough. Adding Shaklee’s Hydrate helped me hit my daily water goals and gave me an energy boost—win-win!

3. Create a Plan You Can Stick To

One of my biggest mistakes used to be trying to do all the things at once. Now? I focus on what’s realistic.

  • Example: If your goal is better sleep, start with a simple nighttime routine. For me, that’s putting my phone down 30 minutes before bed, sipping on chamomile tea, and using Stress Relief Complex to unwind. Game-changer!

  • Pro Tip: Schedule your goals like appointments. If it’s on your calendar, you’re more likely to make it happen.

4. Anchor Your Goals to a “Why”

When I wanted to lose weight a few years ago, my “why” wasn’t about a number on the scale. It was about feeling strong enough to keep up with my kids and confident enough to rock that cute little dress I’d been eyeing.

Your “why” is what keeps you going when motivation fades. Write it down. Remind yourself of it daily. Trust me, it works.

5. Track Progress and Celebrate Wins

There’s nothing more motivating than seeing progress, no matter how small. When I started tracking my wellness goals, I realized how much those little changes added up.

  • Try this: Use a journal, app, or even a simple checklist to track your wins.

  • Celebrate: Treat yourself! Maybe it’s a new workout top, a relaxing bubble bath, or a quick shopping spree.

I personally love treating myself to a mini spa. It’s my skin’s best friend and feels like a little luxury every day.

Let’s Make It Happen

This year isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. Start small, stay consistent, and remember your “why.” I know you’ve got this, I’m cheering for you every step of the way!

What’s one wellness goal you’re working on this year? Drop it in the comments, I’d love to hear it and cheer you on!
